LUCID NI knows that you care how information about you and your company (Customer or you) is used and shared. As a demonstration of our commitment to your privacy, LUCID NI disclosed its information and privacy practices for your review. By visiting LUCID NI's Web site (the Site) you are accepting the practices described in this Privacy Statement. These practices are in addition to the terms and conditions governing your use of the Site and any terms and conditions that may be contained in any separate license and/or services agreement between Customer and LUCID NI.

This Privacy Notice and the Terms and Conditions of Use of the LUCID NI web site may change from time to time as LUCID NI's business changes. You should check this Privacy Notice and the Terms and Conditions frequently to see any recent changes.

1) Information Gathered
We gather two types of information from you when you visit the Site: information you submit to us voluntarily, whether for registration, newsletter or other purposes, or information our Site gathers automatically.

2) Information You Provide Us
To respond to your requests or enable you to register on the Site, we may request such personally identifiable information as your name, residential and/or business address, e-mail address, and/or telephone number(s). If you are requesting services from the Site, such as online quotes, additional personally identifiable information may be requested. You do not, however, need to provide us with personally identifiable information to use many features of the Site. Your contact information may be used to contact you or to respond to your requests.

The Site may also contain links to other sites. LUCID NI is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such third party web sites. You should understand that the policy of such third party would apply to personally identifiable information that may be collected during your use of such third partys sites.

3) Information We Collect
When users browse our Site, we may log the IP address and other typical tracking information, but the users identity remains anonymous. This information is aggregated into our log files as site-wide information and is used for system administration and auditing purposes. We may also use the IP addresses to gather statistical information for marketing purposes. Such information is not used to identify individuals or to reveal personal information.

4) Cookies
Cookies are bits of information sent by web sites to your browser that enable web sites to recognize your browser on future visits. LUCID NI may use temporary cookies to provide your browser with information tailored to your needs. Our cookies neither reveal nor interact with other cookies on your hard drive nor do they enable us to learn personally identifiable information that the user has not otherwise provided. If you wish to disable cookies, provided your browser permits, you can turn off the cookie function in your browser settings by consulting your browsers Help files. Please note that the Site may not function smoothly without the cookie being activated.

5) Security
While LUCID NI tries to prevent third party access to personally identifiable information, the user acknowledges that internet communications are not always secure. In view of the foregoing, LUCID NI cannot warrant that the users personally identifiable information will not be access by unauthorized third parties, and user agrees that LUCID NI can not be liable for such disclosure. In addition, the user is responsible for preventing unauthorized access to the users own passwords and computer. Notwithstanding the foregoing, LUCID NI uses industry standard encryption technology, such as digital IDs to protect its web servers, and secure communication to prevent data theft. All of our data is behind a firewall. Sensitive information, such as information transmitted via the Customer Connection, is encrypted prior to transmission through SSL and hashed for storage. We periodically review and improve our security policies as necessary, and only authorized individuals have access to the information provided by our customers.

6) Information Sharing
LUCID NI may use personally identifiable information that you provide for marketing and statistical purposes. However, LUCID NI never willfully discloses any individually identifiable information about its users to third parties without permission to do so, except as required by law or to protect the rights, property or safety of LUCID NI, our users, or others. We do not sell users names or e-mail addresses to other companies so that they can send unsolicited e-mail or written promotional materials. We may employ other companies and individuals to perform functions on our behalf, such as provide marketing assistance, process credit card payments, or provide customer service, but the purpose of such companies or individuals use of such information is limited to performing their function for LUCID NI and not for any other purpose.
